Thanks, so much of the stuff there I forgot about, being young, when the future looked bright

Thanks so much for sharing this special! Living in Seattle, I've always been curious of other World's Fairs, with the 1939 being one of my favorites.
-
I went to the World's Fair in 1964. I know someone else whose family drove out to see it from the Midwest -- and slept in their car rather than getting a hotel room.

Rest in peace Edwin Newman.

Ps. There was another special air for two nights unless it was this one. Thanks again!

Thanks so much! I've been waiting many years to see this film since it was aired on NBC in 1964. Watching the people is so facinating. Prices are great. I recall my mother complaining that the entry was so high and the exhibit lines were as well.
Yes we also had a great time and went back in '65 but never got to the Ford pavillion, lines were insane.
I don't know how you got this, but I'm glad you did and was generous enough to post it. Thank you!

You wouldn't happen to have the mid-1960s intro to NBC Saturday Night at the Movies, would you?
