back in the old days we had to wait all day for our favorite song to play then we would record them on tape. Now these kids can download any mp3. It was better back in the old days because we appreciated our tapes because they were so hard to make. iI remember opening and splicing broken tape with bandaids back in the day.

@Acadianiste still I have two tapes TDK METAL MASTER MA-X that I haven't used yet..............and some METAL CD tapes and SONY XRG metal and plenty CRO2 TDK as you said they have super-extra great sound when recorded in a proper machine (nakamichi tape recorded deck) or YAMAHA recorded deck you can get such a good cuality you couldn't believe.. and people think mp3 is better just because it's the last style and modern in the stores........nothing better that a good tape cassette
-
Yah for sure. Nice thing with tapes too is that you can stop the player and start it right where you left off, unlike a CD or even an MP3 file that you can't start in the middle unless it's on an MP3 player.

Yes... before I never really took notice that there was different tapes too.... I can't beleive how well "chrome/ type II" tapes sound!
-
@Acadianiste you know it mate.....it's good there are people out there that can see the difference between good sound and crap mp3..................long live tape cassette
-
I have started using tapes again, lol, to hell with rotting scratched cd's
-
With a super dupper good tape deck, cassettes sound SSSUUUPEERR we need a tape renaissance.
-
NICE............. I have always say.......... cassttes and LP sound much better than any cd or mp3 crap......I have a lot of tapes that I keep and still play good...........

I got way more tapes than that over 600 of them. Compact cassettes is one of the toughest music format media that lasts for generations and generations and still sounds great. Unlike CDs that get scratched cracked warped and deformed. and supposebly tapes are the ones that wear out and degrade. Then why do they still sound good after all this years? I hate how media tricks and lies to people. Tapes rock.
