@JimmyJones Blue ray is a 1080p scan of each frame of film. Film goes higher than 1080p. The Wizard of Oz was filmed on 35mm film with 3 strips of color film. The colors were much more saturated than todays films. THere might have been some color restoration but thats for the color that was originally there. So watching on blue ray or in a movie theater in the 1930s, not much difference.

@REKONBALL2 Thats the way they were supposed to be seen or better. Film still has a higher resolution than Blue Ray or HD.
