"Nothing Compares 2 U" is a song written in the 1980s by Prince for The band, Family. And as Julia Robert's said "Everybody's gotta love Prince"!
This is a cover of the 1990 recording by Sinéad O'Connor which became a number-one hit in many countries, charting in the U.S., UK, Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Canada, and Germany, and launched O'Connor's mainstream career. The subject of the song is actress Susannah Melvoin.
It's such a meaningful song and can be interpreted in so many ways.

@alexisplexis There is nothing wrong with this song. She is a pre-teen, not 6 years old. Junior high, not elementary school. There is no foul language, or reference to any inappropriate material. If you actually listen to the words in the song, then you may some idea of what you are commenting about. I have a daughter the same age and this song is fine. It would be wonderful for her to have such a diverse appreciation of music.
