Jet Fighters Chase UFO: Fact or Faked? (Video)

A video on YouTube appears to capture two jet fighters chasing a UFO zooming past a hiker strolling a local lake. Is it fact? Or faked?

The moment doesn't seem scripted or staged. The unidentified hiker appears to be enjoying an afternoon stroll by a quiet lakeside, video camera in hand, when the sound of booming jet engines overhead rattles the bucolic scene.

The hiker loses control of the camera for a moment, so startling is the sight, but quickly regains enough composure to catch a glimpse of the drama unfolding overhead.

Suddenly, two jet fighters fly past, unusually low to the ground, as they seem to chase a circular object which easily outpaces them and effortlessly manuevers away from the beleaguered, human-powered aircraft.

As the UFO disappears behind a hill, the hiker turns the camera toward the horizon for a last glimpse of the aerial chase scene.

Of course, these kinds of videos have popped up online before, but the realism of this particular clip, and the seemingly accidental nature of the videography, lend a note of realism hard to deny. And the audio track is spot on.

It's something that can be accomplished with editing tools common to PC users today which would have been out of reach just a decade ago. The user on YouTube provides no description, location or any other details. Even the comments section has been disabled. Whoever made this video decided to let the tape speak for itself.
