@magusmagic2 Morrison man, he didnt really sing the true raw blues, He sang The Doors, Eric is the best when it comes to that raw, hard bluesy rock, and this is coming from a hardcore Morrison fan! But Burdon is for sure the best in his league, and he definetely holds up a close number to Morrison ESPECIALLY in his prime back in the early and mid 60's.

I like Morrison too, but for me Burdon is, (and always will be), the greatest when it comes to raw blues/rock! How much Burdon have you actually listened to?
