This video excerpt is from a lecture given by Josh Yiu, Associate Curator of Asian Art, explaining the significance of two paintings by the 17th century Chinese painter Bada Shanren. The paintings recently entered the SAM collection and will be on view as part of "New Old and New New" at the Seattle Asian Art Museum, December 12, 2009November 28, 2010.

  • Nice presentation to these Bada's paintings. I would definate go to SAM to see them next time I go to Seatle.
