Oxtail is no longer the cheap cut of meat that it used to be but it really is worth trying this method of cooking it.Like many similar cuts of meat oxtail needs long slow cooking and Mr D's Thermal Slow Cooker is the ideal way to do this.

Hi,
I used Chinese rice wine when I made it but why not try the Pearl River Bridge if you have it. Let us know how you get on.

what type of chinese wine? rice wine or Pearl River Bridge cooking liqueur is the ones I have?
Always wash the rice before cooking rinse the rice until the cloudy water goes clear.

Yes trim off as much as possible. I should have mentioned this in the recipe.

@LetMeSeeThis99 Hi, I am not sure because the recipe was designed to be used with a thermal slow cooker however I would try the same amount.
if i use a pressure cooker, do i still use the same amount of liquid??
