@huntdogg1 not directed to me but i live in san francisco and what i can say is... yes, austin is a cake walk. in my experiences austin is muuuuuch easier to find jobs than in most major cities outside of texas. fuck 6th st. no thanks to the weather... bikes get stolen everywhere! police suck everywhere! ditto on highland mall... but again, fuck all malls. austin is still one of the safest cities... and its still a heck of a town. been gone for several months now and i miss it.

I feel you on a small town. Mine is around the same. I am trying to get out of this town im in. I have a few times,but didnt work out to well considering problems with spouse. Hopefully something will turn up for me, and hopefully Austin will go good for oyu.

How did it turn out? I'm considering moving there. I am from San Antonio but moved to a Victoria, Texas, for a job. Thinking of relocating!
