Part-H - "After All"...This is the final piece to "...a place called Viet Nam" which is to only show what a total and misguided effort The War In Viet Nam was. { NOTE: YOU MAY NEED TO DOWNLOAD A FEW MINUTES FIRST BEFORE STARTING TO AVOID SKIPS AND JUMPS ) ....Over 10 years long, hundreds of thousands of American young men were wounded or permanently disabled, and 58,249 American servicemen were killed in the end. And all for nothing !!! ***(Take Note of the Facts at the very end of this piece.)
Viet Nam produced another type of wounded as well. Wounded whose scars do not show up on the body and can't be seen. These are deep seeded scars which effect the mind of many Veterans to this day by bringing about feelings of guilt for what they were made to do; for the way they treated their then enemy; for the way we were treated when we came back home by our own: for the feelings of having not accomplished anything after having giving so much; and the feelings of guilt for just having survived it all when so many others didn't.

I returned to Viet Nam on Veterans Day, 2008. I am happy to let you all know that the people of today's Viet Nam have done perfectly alright with out us.
I also found out that : All the people of Viet Nam ever wanted was " to just be left alone".

  • To all those who fought in Viet Nam living or in heaven you are my heroes. I feel lucky to be of the same species as you...Thank you.....

  • No words are necessary beyond what anyone presents as evidence without a Purple Heart.

  • I'm the drummer on this song when a member of the British band "Kokomo." My real name is John Sussewell, whereas SussQuatch became my moniker as a session drummer in New York City. When Steve Winwood asked Alan Spenner (bass) and I to come to Chipping Norton Studios (U.K.), I jumped at the opportunity since Winwood certainly was among my faves back then. Music is certainly universal. Give the Gift of Music toward LIFE and not death. Five ourselves for that which is Right.
