Molten aluminum does not glow. Aluminum melts at about 650 C and no glowing occurs at such low temperature (in daylight).
Glowchart shows that the metal on the video is over 1100 C hot. In addition the video is shot at daylight which makes glow colors seem much colder. It is plausible that the metal is indeed molten steel.

One form of thermite is a mix of iron-oxide and aluminum.
What is steel made of? IRON.
What is the chemical process that occurs during a fire? OXIDATION.
What are airplanes made of? ALUMINUM.

Nano Thermite Composition:
gray-red bi-layer
hard ceramic gray layer composed of iron and oxygen
Nano-engineered red layer comprosing:
1. semi-transparent matrix layer containing silicon, oxygen, and carbon
2. Embedded in the matrix are particles consisting of hexagonal plates of mostly mostly aluminum
and rhombic grains mostly iron and oxygen, probably as Fe2O3
All of this is not visible until magnified at 50,000X.
