Jonathan Bryant - government teacher with Edgewood ISD on the west side of San Antonio - calls San Antonio Tea Party President George Rodriguez a NAZI. This is after a contentious exchange with Schuylar Crist..

Now... I thought all the hate was in the Tea Party? This was captured on September 20th, 2011at a discussion panel concerning the DREAM Act.

I am all for free speech, but Mr. Bryant ID's himself as a teacher, bragged about how many student he probably bused in to the meeting. I surely hope Edgewood ISD takes notice to this.

Fortunately, the moderator - Hernán Rozemberg - admonished Mr. Bryant for his comments.

As usual, the far right only shows part of the discussion. I am proud that this teacher speaks up for the thousands that are here even though they are not at fault. I am very proud of these students that will be an asset to our society even though conservatives are making it difficult to get an education. They will remember next November where you stand.

@ThePurplerocket2012 It is unfortunate that you fail to see that his Jonathon Bryant's foolish statements ignited a fire that may have led to what you claim; the students being attacked after the debate. It is a shame that his teachings have led you down a path that thinks slander is acceptable. To call somebody a Nazi is the same as calling somebody a nig ger or spic or . It is wrong, but because of Jonathan Bryant, you fail to see this. It is not ok! Name calling is not a debate.

I don't want to see this teacher fired. However, does anyone out there understand that no one nation can accept every single person, regardless of their numerous positive personal traits? Did you know that Mexican citizens receive a FREE Education at a major Mexican University? Foreign countries need talented, educated young people much more than we do so their own economies can grow. You can see tea party Pres Rodriguez at another tape, at a later school meeting, accusing Bryant of throwing tantrums. If Rodriguez only realized how stupid he looks, pointing finger at school board& the bullying at that meeting is SO OBVIOUS.
