Asere experiment with the Afro-Cuban Guaguanco rhythm in this mesmerizing soundscape. Written and sung by conguero Vicente Arrencibia, it is about the 'Solar', a black neighbourhood he was brought up in and where he learned music at an early age through the sounds around him -- from street vendors to fiestas and bata drumming.
