best ways to save money on electric are like this.Sell you're tumble dryer+washing machine and hand wash instead,use a drainer too,&hand-washing &ringing out by hand will keep ya muscles in trim too.next sell youre vacuum cleaner &buy a brush &shovel, then next get rid off all lighting and replace with CFLs.open curtains when sun is up to save more money on lighting,&put power saving options on for computer monitor.
best ways by far,little box youre testin wont save shit &bet it costs a lot too

When the watts don't drop, the bill will not drop either!
Meters measure WATTS used vs time -- ie: killowatt-hours (1,000 watts used for one hour)
Same watts == same bill.
Sorry...

I just can't see this working.

The Kill-A-Watt brand meter he featured is manufactured by P-3 Industries. They make quite a few neat products but my favorite is the Kill-A-Watt. They cost about $65.

These things don't work.

I'm confused the power company uses watts to determine usage and the device only lowered amps not total watts. Volts x amps = watts right?
lamont22222 1 year ago
@lamont22222 The less amps you pull the lower the power bill. The unit still gets the power it needs but the overall draw from the grid is less. Saves you money..
