  • ok so windows says i have a single core "pentium III xeon", cpu id says i have a "core 2 quad q9550" that said 1 core and 1 thread. i went into the bios and there was an option called something like "single core mode" and it was enabled. i disabled it, now cpu-id says there are 4 cores and threads but windows still says "pentium III xeon 2.83ghz". is it quad core or not???
