  • NASCAR fans are in the dark!

  • As soon as they grab the wing and you hear the pitch of the engine change there about to blip the throttle. I went to Englishtown this year with my fiance. I saw it, she did and they hit it she jumped. LOL just awesome

  • i remember when i stood that close when i was about 9 years old watching kenny bernstein warm up his top fueler at national trails in columbus, ohio and now im almost 30 and thankful for my grandfather letting me feel the burn that close just like that little fella ......now im a nitro junkie forever :-)

  • Children, be strong and watch the spectacle

  • yeah nothing like smellng feeling and hearing a nitro engine, nothing like it at all.

  • The ONLY way to describe it is ------the cars NEVER move an inch....the earth rotates underneath them------ My thoughts are also that there is NOTHING like the smell of Nitro and VHT first thing in the morning.....Folgers ain't got nuttin on the drag strip!!!

  • whenever i go to the drags to race i like to stand by the track and the smoke and fuel but the track in the morning always smells so good like candy

  • that must have scared him

  • i race a junior drag racer i go on tour every time they do

  • Kids got balls man, he'll be working for the pit crew soon enough!! Right on kid show them you got stones enough to stand that close!

  • The first time I took my 9 yr old daughter to Houston and Doug Kalitta blipped the throttle of his fueler she ran and tried to crawl under a vedor booth. You simply cannot describe the feeling. I try to take a newb everytime I go just to see the reaction on their face. Priceless!
