I forgot about this till sent the petition and their in the video my beautiful son with his smile gone

Autism is devastating. However, there is now an enormous collection of good data showing children develop autism at the same rates whether they received MMR or not. See my movie "Autism and MMR, The Andre Wakefield Story".

I found the video & the song accompanying it very moving,thank you,it reminds me of my grandson & I was one of the people who had legal aid funding withdrawn due to lack of 'scientific evidence'.You've encouraged me to continue to fight.

not enough is being done to protect our children. all i can say is what a touching video and even though they have autism, these children are very special. i hope the petition is successful and i pray for the sake of all our children that mmr is one day withdrawn and replaced with a safer option.

Before you suggest that I am anti-vaccination, think this-

One can see the danger in Vioxx, while appreciating the benefits of penicillin.

I just think we can do BETTER with our current vaccination policy.

The US stopped using the OPV- live virus Oral polio vaccine- in 2001, as it was causing polio in immune deficient children. (all cases of polio in the US over the last 20 yrs is from the vaccine)

Now we use the IPV, Inactivated Polio Virus vaccine

The day of her reaction, the ER doctor assured me it couldn't possibly have anything to do with the vaccinations 2 weeks prior.

We are now considering a lumbar puncture, at the suggestion of her immunologist, neurologist, and infectious disease doctor.
