@zuma0011 That's not exactly the fault of the mix. Every song on this deluxe edition was mastered for loudness, which destroyed some of the clarity in the drum track. It's almost unfair to compare this to the Nevermind we know and love because we're not hearing the Devonshire mixes the way they were intended to be heard.

This is how Nirvana should sound more exposed and more mean sounding to the ears granted if Nevermind wasn't so produced it would have failed commercially and none of us would be listening to a box set of this album but I like these mixes better on most the songs but I will always enjoy the original 1991 Andy Wallace mixes and never say they shouldn't exist
