Just below Young's Store on Route 3, I encountered a moose. It's rare to see in the day during the winter, but this guy seemed not to care.

  • The moose seem to enjoy licking the roadsalt along the edge of the roads. It's kind of early to see a Moose along the roadside, it's more common late April up until their pre-rut season. During January & February, it's more common to see them walking down a snowmobile corridor. Magalloway Rd appears to be quite a popular destination for moose after night fall.

  • I see moose there all the time

  • nice video by the way i thought they would loose there antlers by now.

  • I heard they come down from the mountains this time of year if there is alot of snow up there so they can feed better.
