1993 World University Games Championships - Sambo

At the time of this competition, Master Zurab (Red) was a Judo black belt & had a Master of Sports in Sambo. Master Zurab (Middleweight) had to replace one of his opponents from Team Russia in the heavyweight division. He fought a heavyweight grappler with Sambo & Wrestling experience. Besides a significant weight & height advantage, Master Zurab was able to secure a beautiful rolling/sitting arm bar. Because of the nature of the arm bar and the position that both fighters were in, the grappler in Blue was not able to tap (his hands were entangled within the grips of Master Zurab). Because of this, his hand was broken. Master Zurab pointed out to the referee (at the end of the match) that the guy couldn't have tapped and warned him that his hand might be broken.
