well, he dies, but not in the way I put in this video... he dies later on shippuden because the akatsuki took the demon out of him, causing his death... but an elder revives him, using her own soul as sacrifice, so he's alive again! ^-^

no gaara is still alive, although he hasn't come on in the  naruto shippuden episodes since he fought deidara
