Those soldiers from Blackwolf's army are at it again. Man, these guys are nuts.

Granted I've never seen Grave of the Fireflies (I have it on my hard drive, but haven't seen it as of yet... this knocks it up a couple notches on my "to see" list) but Akira is a MUST SEE for anyone who hasn't seen it yet. It's pretty epic. Plus the manga was even more descriptive. But they always are. "The book was better" is kind of a given.

  • @Johnlindsey289

Haven't seen those either. I might see AKIRA one day, because it does look good compared to the other anime I see. I don't know if I'll see GotFF.

What about Akira or Grave of the Fireflies? very sad, powerful and harrowing WWII 1988 animated drama and Akira is very unconventional anime as it has no big eyes but regular small eyes and no flapping mouths but regular mouth movements and no body jerking when it has actual body movements including awesome animation. Grave of the Fireflies is definitely the saddest animated movie ever and a must see.

Dunno. Only saw FERNGULLY. Not a fan of anime.

  • @VerySourLemon

I know and you can tell his voice. Say uh do you think this movie predates Nausicaa of the Valley of the WInd (aka Warriors of the Wind), Fist of the North Star and Ferngully? it's preety much a combo of those 3 and also an environmentalist animated movie

  • *grabs gun* "Left, right, left, right,..."

  • Ralph Bakshi provides the voice for LardBottom.
