  • Would sound great without all the distortion on the soundtrack.

  • Yes ! really nice job.

Kansas was a task to play. we were always going over their material before a gig.

  • The time signiatures on this song are insane.

  • In case you haven't found them yet there are a couple "Mysteries and Mayhem" and "Carry On Wayward Son" posted! I'm trying to get the posters to post more but no luck yet! "Mysteries" is awesome with a long solo in the middle by Rags on violin and guitar! Find and enjoy!

  • Anybody got any clips of Kansas, "Live At The Whiskey"? Supposedly, a DVD or VHS was made of this concert, but I can't find it.

  • It seems to me like he's playing his own version, probably inspired by some live ones he's heard along with the studio stuff. A mish-mash. He uses a 5 string and Dave Hope just used a 4, so that alone is going to lend it a different vibe. There's always the real Kansas when you want to hear it like it was on the CD.....

  • Thanks Men-Let us know when you will do more ?

Nice, hard work, and time, huh ? KANSAS !!!

ICARUSpix4U com Virgin land of forest green... Utopia-Freedom...

  • yeah only one song i played CLiff played the other was when jason was with them but Cliff wrote the song they are still a good band in my eyes just need to stop with the new stuff and hope that that jason in the new album sets them right but i love all kinds of music not so much rap though i like 2pac he was good but i love me some old rock and metal and even todays metal but its all right if you dont like it all lol

  • Point well taken. I play in a cover band myself and always try to learn the songs note for note with a bit of embellishment. Some of the Metallica stuff you do is beyond me though. I love Cliff Burton but cannot even come close to doing what he did.

  • well thats besides the point if i cant play the song note for note i dont even try to play it live cause that would be moronic if you cant play the song right and you do it live plus anyways the Bass line is the easiest thing to hear in the song it baffles me why he cant play it right but i will say this it is a hard song to play live didnt ever say it wasnt so you can get that out of your head its just that he should know how to play the song first before trying to play it live
