The Palestinian Arab village of al-Ras al-Ahmar ("The red peak") was located until 30/10/1948 on the top of a hill with the same name. Its 800 Palestinian inhabitants were forced to flee to the Lebanese territory near their village after the brutal conquest of two neighboring villages, Safsaf and al-Jish, by the Seventh Brigade, during "Operation Hiram."

The film "Bridging memory" tells the story of the Village through 5 refugees who live today in Ayn alHelwi camp in Lebanon.
