@ottotr doh... how long did you think it took for il2 sturmovik to have the bunch of planes it has today? You cant expect them to model 500 planes. The sim is the priority. Get the basis right and we will come to expect expansions thereafter. Have you looked on the cover of il2 1946 how many expansions that sim consists off?

Honestly I have long since given up checking on whether its released. It's beyond the joke. God knows how many times they have had to rewrite the code just to keep up with current operating systems and hardware. I think THAT is the point though. They are having big problems and are waiting for technology to catch up to their product so they can get it actually working the way its supposed to. So expect another 5 years of waiting by which time it will be obsolete as a game.
