Gears of War Easy Clusterluck Achievement

Quickest and an easy way to get the clusterluck Achievement in GoW. Start on casual and play the Prison Breakout stage (very first stage) until the Locust start cutting through the door (less than 5 minutes in if you run through). Aim a grenade in the general area in the video and let it go just after the door blows off. Dom will be revived automatically if you get all three at once. Pause the game and choose Load Last Checkpoint (the checkpoint is right as they start cutting the door), repeat how ever many times you need to get the achievement (10 total for the achievement).

You've got to work on timing to get this. And also... if I'm not wrong - if you'll load to the last checkpoint without getting killed it won't count.

Some people say it won't while others say it will. It worked for me but I did it when the game was fairly new. Since its went through several patches its entirely possible.

The easiest way to get this achievement is on Belly Of The Beast : Evolution where there are loads of wretches under the breaking floorboards. Run around a bit until you see three of them stick one and you should get three. Repeat this until you get the achievement. :-)

This is less than 5 minutes into the game. A lot easier than playing a decent chunk in or hoping you have a save. If you're just trying for this achievement then doing it the way shown is easier.

read it man, you need to kill 3 locust with a single grenade on 10 seperate occasions. its really not that difficult to understand.

k this is fuck hard but after 20 mins, i got it.

After the explosion count 3-2-1 then throw the grenade, but dnt let the grenade get beyond the door.

@cam1099 lol, grunts are Halo. The enemies in Gears Of War are Locust.

This still works, the closer you stand to the door the better, it stops the grunts from spreading out.

@tardmaster I can confirm that loading last checkpoint doesn't matter, it's ok. I just tried it and it worked. I have Xbox Live so I have the newest version of the game, so they haven't changed it or something :)

Going to Belly of the Beast: Evolution is much easier, I think, you just fall into the wretch pit, tag one, and run away.

ok , i get this achievement today , so this tutorial is still working and u still can get an achievement using this way . and after killing them u can load from the last checkpoint . btw , i had updated my gow so i think no more questions left.
