Me running Windows 7 on a IBM Thinkpad T22. It isn't perfect, but it works and thats my point. T22's have a P3 Processor, an S3 Savage IX8 graphics card and only 1 USB port.

Ive got windows 7 on ibm t22 aswell. It runs quite quick

i call bullshit.windows 7 needs more ram to run then any thinkpad has.thinkpad max memory is 512mb pc133 theres no way it can run.you would hardly run xp.

This is 32-bit. About the sound, it should come in Windows Update.

i keep trying to do the same but when i insert disc it begins to download then it says boot manager. It doesn't let me do anything after this. can u list the instructions on how to upgrade?

@betoniners With an upgrade, you need to have Windows Vista installed. If you have XP, or older, you will need to use Custom, however, you should back your things up as this will wipe the drive.
