@redwings19971998 Problem is, they don't turn on their radios, they don't hear anything at all. I listened to Sober, by Tool, which led me to limewire a Kyuss song where Maynard joined them live. I youtubed that song, and a comment led me to this song. Sometimes radios have bassackwards ways of directing you to the really good stuff.

Hey if you're on facebook join the group Planet Doom. they post a lot of videos of stoner/doom/sludge/grunge bands mostly underground. They helped me find out about Nebula, Orange Goblin, Wo Fat, and Saint Vitus.

@ACDCoverdose Thanks for the hint, but I'm not on facebook - not enough friends, so it's quite useless. I'm more of a blog scavenger anyway. I know about all the bands you named, although I don't like Saint Vitus, too 'doomy' for my taste.

@bludgeonedPROD Just a little too dark for me I suppose. I'm more into stoner doom combinations. And most importantly, I'm really picky about vocals...I don't like all that growling and grunting. That's what I always liked about Electric Wizard for instance. They are quite doomy, but their vocals are not that low and growling.
