There is supposed to be money in the next year's budget for a new rescue and a new ladder. After the two new Sabers go on duty at Engine 10 and Engine 12 then this rig will be the oldest in the fleet.

What happened to the door on the front of the station that was all bulged out?

There was a tornado on 6-24 that did some damage. That bulge was from a gas grill getting winged across the apparatus floor. Go to firegroundimages for more detailed pictures. Look for a gallery called "mutual aid at headquarters."
