Kuala Lumpur Bird Park (Malay: Taman Burung Kuala Lumpur) is a popular tourist attraction in Malaysia. It is located adjacent to the Perdana Lake Gardens of Kuala Lumpur. This Bird Park houses more than 5000 birds (or more than 50 species) of birds in an enclosed aviary. Out of these 5000 birds, 90% are local birds and 10% were imported from overseas. The size of this bird park is around 7-16 hectares

  • Isn't the ostrich the world's largest bird?

  • wow

  • I was at the park a few months ago and really sad to see how poor was the maintenance of the place. The netting over the park was damaged and the black nettings replacement was a shoddy and ugly workmanship. The bridges was on the verge of collapsing and they had to close it down. Peacocks especially looks really sick. The flamingo ponds are filthy and in general the place is overated. This is definetely an embarassment for Malaysia. DBKL please take ACTION !
