This is it. The 6.7-liter "Scorpion" Power Stroke V8 is Ford's first diesel motor for its 2011 F-Series HD pickups to be developed entirely in-house after three decades partnering with outside engine-maker Navistar.

  • the 7.3 is one of the best motors ever made my old 7.3 that is 20 years old is still being used today to two race car trailers, and it runs great

i'm looking at the towing specs mike, i don't care which truck wins in a race i want the one that can tow more, the one that wins in a race has nothing to do with which one can tow more

  • the big bad duramax gets out pulled by powerstrokes on a daily basis

  • @PoWeRstrokeBoii because they are not better DUH!!

  • @brsox4928 I agree, to many people are like oh man I can run a ridiculously fast quarter mile with my diesel....its like who gives a fuck, that's what having a fast car is for. I'm sticking to my good old bulletproof 7.3L

  • @stefanrhs Well, If we go down that road, I prefer chevrolets gas engines. They are just all around good trucks too. I like the cummins and the way the dodge truck is, In my opinion nothing pulls or goes like a dodge (even withh a shitty tranny)And to answer your question, Im not sure if they hold their value like fords or not.

  • @kawirider206 Im not dogging them. They are good engines, but do gas dodges hold retail as much as a ford? I know the diesels do because of the engine. Im not trying to start anything i like them both ah im just saying.

  • @stefanrhs Dude, how many fummins conversions do you see? About 1 to every 10,000 dodges Id say. most people buy old dodges to pull or just to drive and last forever. Which they do both damn well. Ill buy a Ford diesel when dodge stops using cummins. Which is not likely. And for the price? Dodge Cummins have the highest resale value of any vehicle on the market

  • @a5kylar dude im a ford guy but if your gunna dog chevys get your facts straight. Urea in the diesel? Really? When they come out with it let me know. Last i checked it got injected into the PF when the truck is at idle because it is not burning hot enough to burn the particles.

  • @kawirider206 Im just saying. Not that many people put a cummins in a chevy and all the old dodges are bought for the engine so they can be put in a ford. Half of the people who own dodges will tell you they bought it for price and the engine.

  • @PoWeRstrokeBoii chevys fucking suck the new diesel system for fords diesel engines is the future they run urea in the diesel feul making the truck not only run better but get better mpg's

  • @stefanrhs What makes people buy fords then? The interior? What about the pickup is junk? Ive owned 6 cummins, Ive had trouble with one. Running a hrvp44 pump, adrenaline w beta tunes, 200 horse injectors, and all through a stock tranny, which failed, I think thats pretty good for a truck close to 500 horses

  • @kawirider206 dodge has a good engine the pickup itself is junk,,, the cummins is the only reason they are bought
