  • It is supposed to be getting a release but there is a problem with the music and copyright, and this has been holding the DVD releases of Series 3 and the Christmas Special.

  • Glad you're enjoying it - the full Special should be up in a few days or so ;)

  • Well, well Lady Pen - how long have we waited for this !!! Loved this show as this love struck romeo has never really got over his " JUST GOOD FRIEND" strangely from the same time period - who bore more than an uncanny resemblance to the divine Ms Francis aka Penny in this episode - ( deep whistful sigh )

  • You are a superstar Lady Pen...I have all 3 series except this gem....Not seen this since 1984....Thank you so much for posting xx

  • So has this not been shown since its initial broadcast? This is the first time I've been able to watch it. And NO canned laughter!

  • What a cracking find this is!!! They filmed this all around my area. The wedding is at Great Wakering Church,Essex, the scene where the Samaritan calls Vince a Bastard is on Canvey Island Essex and a lot of the locations used in the TV series were filmed around Southend On Sea. Oh and doesn't Ann Lynn look a tart compared to her previous roles. No offence to Ann Lynn she was a beautiful young actress in her early years. Gorgeous.

  • To quote the magnificent Donald Fagen ; I know what happens - I've read the book - I believe I've just got the goodbye look !!

Do we think they will reprise this series - just for olde times sake ??

  • I have waited years to see this again. Years! Thank you.

  • A pedant writes: The Rolling Stones did NOT release As Tears Go By in 1976, but they used that year for dramatic licence.

  • Many, many thanks for showing series 3 of Just Good Friends and the Christmas Special ....... I have been waiting absolutely ages to see it again. Only wish it were out on disc so my family in Canada can all sit down together and watch it. Thank you once again.
