I am Canadian and I dont have healthcare, because UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE is broken. Here is what you get, go to a hospital with severe injury and get NO TESTS

Canada and the USA have one thing in common, you need a wallet full of money to get a proper diagnose and treatment; U need to buy your own MRI's because in Canada you wait 4 ever

Imagine being denied, never getting treatment and dying because of it. My Father died due to his insurance not wanting to pay for his treatment that could have saved his life. Fuck the U.S Health care, and Fuck all health care providers, profits over patients. Thank God I live in Canada, I got the stem cell treatment for my MS, and now I can Walk better and move about on my own. A treatment you can't get in the U.S.

This lady is STUPID - people who make a profit off other people's illnesses? they don't profit when people are SICK! *doh* I LOVE my BC/BS - they are awesome and provide preventative info, great website - they even offer 1-800 number to call in and speak to nurses/docs about your condition.

Yes, they make a profit - if the govt would stop w/the regulation (like no competition across state lines) it would cost everyone a LOT LESS than govt run HC

@choclabs3 I have never been told what doctor to see in Canada, the longest I had to wait was probably and hour and half when my GP had to deliver a baby but I was only there for a checkup, if you get in line it means someone has a more seriuos concern. Die wating? LOL You obviously listen to Glenn Beck. Our system here in Canada rocks and I do feel bad for the Americans who have to choose between healthcare and losing their house.

The monopoly of government already makes laws that increase the cost of private health care so i don't see why the government needs to have a monopoly over something else.
