Statement by Chairman Louis Stokes.

The first official investigation since The Warren Commission. It ran into trouble at once,as the institutions and the agencies involved, were always reluctant in release of information requested.

Decision was made that the commitee had to sustain politically, as key witnesses started to die.

Included amongst witnesses that died, was one George S. De Mohrenschildt. He was Oswald's close friend.

George S. De Mohrenschildt was an associate of George HW BUsh and once worked for Bush's oil company.Bush's phone # was found on DeMohrenschildt's body.

Also very interesting that at the time of this so called investigation 1976,former Warren Commission member Ford was president and George HW Bush was head of CIA.

Blakey wanted the publicity if there was a conspiracy. Now he wants to get back the respect he lost. As to the acoustic evidence those two people were not experts. they were students at Hofstra U. They were thoroughly debunked. The dictabelt tape was edited. When you hear it unedited you hear the Dallas Police chief ordering his men to break out of the limo procession and that they were headed to parkland hospital. The tape was all clicks poops and static one minute AFTER the assassination
