Big ups to JR. Someone tell me if im right, im thinking in the beginning the modulation is to quarter note triplets starting on the and of 4? Later in the piece @ 2:18 its in a slow 3 feel, and the melody is 4 over 3. The drums then play an eighth note in between each note of the melody so that the melody now lies on the upbeats in the new 4/4 time. If not, someone please ask JR what is happening and answer back!

@JamalService2000 I see. I never know how to describe the shuffle so I just said the time signature thing. Hopefully 4/4 shuffle makes sense to people...

@YoungKai96 It actually doesn't actually. It's still a 4/4 shuffle but it gives you the illusion that the signature has changed from 4/4 to 3/4. So it's more of an over the bar polyrhythm if anything else. Listen carefully and you'll get what I mean.
