I have the exact same guitar as that but in red and black not White and black, but the headstock is not coloured it's just wood.
My dad bought it for me a few months ago off a friend for £20-25, I can't remember the price, it was really rusty and mouldy and it didn't work, we spend about £10 on buying new strings and little parts that it needed, sanded it down and polished it, now it sounds really good and looks good, I use it all the time.
I hope I haven't rambled, but I'm just not sure what
Hi. I have almost identical Hofner. The only differences I've noticed are control pots , and fret markers. My guitar is equipped with 4 white knobs with no rectangular plate. Besides, everything seems to be exact the same, white vinyl, etc...
How thick is its neck ? My axe's neck is very massive comparing to body and I wonder if it's original part.
Min första gitarr var en Egmund planka, den andra en Höfner, modellen efter denna tror jag.Vår basist i New Diamonds spelar fortfarande på sin H-bas tycker det ser ut som samma årgång
Very cool! My first guitar from 1970! It was a 172 (two pickups) but the same white naugahyde with black neck. I've just snagged one on ebay to replace it!
Hofner Galaxie?
Looks like it, especially with the three mini humbuckers.

I used to have a 63 colorama that I drasticly cutomized. Out of all the guitars I ever owned, she was the only one with a soul.

Hey, a Höfner 173 !
My first electric guitar in 1962.
Was a great piece of wood and steel.
It's a shame that Höfner did not made a new
edition of this unique guitar.
Thank you for the video.
