hey guy!! I need some help!!
the baby here on this video is my nephew and my sister just told us that she was worried about him cause he's been acting weird... She told us he stumbles when he walkd and hits himself against the walls, he contantly bites his fingers and doesn't respond to any call.. so people who are experts or have expierence, please give me some advise.. I am not really sure but I have the feeling it might be autism... what do you think?

  • All I can say is you'll know within yourself if something is different its more easy to notice when there about 2

  • Have you had his hearing checked? It's possible he might have a hearing impediment that's affecting his balance.

  • @IndigoCat17 Babies are supposed to be very interactive and engaging with people, especially familar people like mom and dad. Please, if you have no understanding of healthy development in infants, toddlers and children....just keep your incorrect opinions to yourself. As a parent of an autistic child, I can reassure you that there are more than enough ignorant people running at the mouth with obviously uneducated thoughts on autism. We don't need anymore. Thanks.

  • why all of a sudden when a kid

    doesn't respond someone

    thinks they are autstic!!

    he is a baby!!!

    ofcoarse he is gonna

    mind his own bussiness

    and not respond he is

    just being a baby!!!!

  • Hello Margrasa...Jenny McCarthy had an autistic child and thru diet and some treatments has claimed to cure him of autism. If he is autistic there is hope. Watch the video Autism Made in America. They talk of changes in diet that makes a great deal of difference with their children. It couldn't hurt to do this and would be healthier for him too. Good luck an God Bless...very cute baby. Jenny wrote a book about autism...ck the library. Search Generation Rescue...there is support out there.

  • He does not appear to have autism. The main clue of evidence showing no autism is he is reaching out and discovering the world in front of him by grasping all objects in his sight. A child with autism would focus on only one, or none at all.

That said, he appears to have fluid in his ears (possible hearing impairment) or it is just too noisy in the background for him to hear his name being called or the glass of ice shaking. Could be auditory processing issues.

  • Maybe he is into your beer and he is drunk

  • @xiala1980 I'm doing much better now. I respond to my name when I hear it now. I only bang my head against walls as a last resort in the most extreme sensory circumstances. Thanks for your care and concern. My communication skills certainly are not perfect, but I think I'm getting better at speaking.

  • @AutisticWhoLives4God How are you doing now?

  • @taraloha I agree with that. My child's diagnosis took a 1 hour and 40 minute evaluation by a professional.
