Whistle was a Hip-Hop/R&B group from Brooklyn New York, who formed in the mid 1980s. Its members were Jazzy Jazz, Kool Doobie, Kraze and DJ Silver Spinner. Their biggest hit was '(Nothing Serious) Just Buggin' in 1986. Their first two albums, Whistle, released in 1986, and Transformation, released in 1988, were produced by Kangol Kid from UTFO and Hitman Howie Tee. Whistle released a third album, Always and Forever in 1990. The group was a rare entity as being one of the very few Hip-Hop groups at the time who were talented singers as well. Their love ballads and uptempo songs that they put out during the 80s and 90s, even though they were underrated, included: 'Chance For Our Love'(1986), 'Please Love Me'(1986), 'Right Next To Me' (1988), 'Bad Habit' (1990), 'Always and Forever' (1990), 'I Am' (1992) and 'If You Don't Say'(1992).

  • this was one of my favorite songs of the 90's . It a shame that they don't make music like this now.
