A timelapse video showing the court changeover at Energy Solutions Arena in Salt Lake City for the 2010 NCAA Tournament Sweet Sixteen college basketball games.
@JazzyUte its still small though. the end of the basketball court is like 5 feet from the 2 row's of bleachers. in terms of seating capacity i guess its not that small (though there are like 7-10 arenas with a higher capacity) its a small arena. probably not as small as i first thought
What they could've done was simply scrub off the NBA three-point line and semi-circle, paint the men's college three-point line, put the NCAA logo over the Jazz logo, take up the baseline pieces that say "Utah Jazz" and replace them with pieces that say "Salt Lake City".
i went to the three in salt lake for this years march madness. It is sooo much more fun watching in person then on tv. If you have the chance to go you have to! :)

@CardinalJiles ? It's one of the largest arenas in the NBA, seating 20,000.

That change over took a long time. Most portables can be installed in 1.5 to 2 hours.

What am I missing? How come the Jazz floor isn't just being picked up and loaded? Or what is their court placed on that the ncaa court is not?

It was like watching a picture download in the dial up days...

And the NCAA is nationalized now, all the courts at all the regional sites HAVE to look exactly the same. Black border, boring court design...
not sure when the Communists took over the NCAA, but they have.
