When Mouse Walked (cerebellar hypoplasia)

Mouse was considered to have the most severe case of CH, Cerebella Hypoplasia, back then. When I first started working at to Kitty Motel, she was always hiding somewhere and never came out from those hidden spots. Nobody noticed her except when we had to feed her (she couldn't eat by herself because she shook too much). I decided to move her bed somewhere more open and visible for many. During my breaks, I took her outside with me and enjoyed the beautiful nature around us. She became comfortable being around people and more active. I also often put her on my lap while I ate my lunch. Boy, she loved the human food! Her eyes got bigger, she sniffed the smell of food with her little nose high up in the air. She even tried to grab my food from my lunch box few times and poked her face into my chip bag. After awhile, if I didn't invite her to my lap when I had my very yummy smelling lunch, she started coming out from her bed and walking toward to me to climb up my lap! She was very happy to be rewarded with pieces of chicken or sausage. Mouse eventually started coming out more to visit my lap even when I didn't have my lunch. I can't remember if I had my lunch when I took this video or not but she sure wanted to visit me whether it was for my lunch or pet. Her CH could not stop her from living her life fully and show her love to those who loved her and be loved in return. Mouse was adopted to an equally amazing lady a few month later.
