I Fashion Supermodel Contest (IFSM) offers a platform for the textile & fashion industry of China to improve comprehension and to promote the communication and cooperation with the world, created and organized by is DOT Media together with fashion designer Yves Castaldi group , supported by Chinese American Film Festival (CAFF for short), a magnificent annual cultural event in promotion of China-US culture exchange was in session in full force in Hollywood, Los Angeles, San Francisco and San Diego simultaneously, proudly present China --USA first IFSM Contest 2009, a competition designed to give aspiring models the opportunity to be a part of the international modeling industry. This model search will provide aspiring models exposure to the international fashion scene and opportunities to compete in China's largest modeling competitions. In 2010, IFSM is collaborated with www.cakuu.com, The competition seeks to create an international network of agencies and gives models from around the world an opportunity to explore the Asian market. This year, top of three lucky winners from China will be flown to North America to compete in 2010 IFSM International and IFSM China.
In 2009, I Fashion SuperModel China final was held in one of China's most beautiful cities, Hangzhou. It featured more than 60 contestants from over China. Last year, the extravaganza captured an audience of over 200 million viewers and was covered by 16 television stations and 52 media publications. This year, We confident that interviews and discussions between government officials, the exchange of perspectives and experience amongst film academics, film workers, fashion designers, actors actress and fashion models, will make the Chinese American Film Festival 2010 and the International Fashion SuperModel a world-class event, worthy of the highest esteem and the greatest anticipation and support.
