I think every tool has it's place within all available parametric design tools.
Solid Works is catching up fast though, not sure what it's current status is as of right now..
When we where testing Solidworks against Pro/e wildfire 2 we noticed that specially the surface options within Solid Works didn't do the right thing, and Pre-E did it right from the start, b...
Man is pro-e lame. I am a solidworks designer and I know that they recently started from scratch to rebuild the pro-e interface to be more simple butt it still seems like it is a pain in the butt. I would love to see someone that is versed at modeling in pro-e quickly model a part. This is obviously a corporate tool trying to describe how to model.
