  • @Sigolet The Judeo-Christian doctrine is hardly a or the fountain head of fundamental human rights. The endorsement of slavery, bigotry, misogyny, etc. by these texts are in direct conflict of equality and civil rights. The U.S. was set up as a secular system, and is mutually exclusive from any particular religious doctrine. The spread of misinformation, and outright lies regarding the foundation of the U.S. gov't is the real problem. Equating Marxism to atheism is also willfully misleading.

  • I don't know which frightens me more, the Bible thumpers or the Bible bashers.

However, the concept of the dignity of the individual, the fountain head of the concept of fundamental human rights, comes from Judeo-Christian doctrine.

Atheistic doctrines, such as Marxism Leninism, accept the notion of "surplus population." This is substantiated by Soviet and Chinese communist history.

Now, which of these two philosophies poses the greater danger? Hummm?

  • @bushbarnes

You're a liar. A complete liar. And an ignorant liar as well. To the point of delusion.

  • @bapyou Actually in the 1950s, not 20s, in response to Communist USSR, on the grounds that a Communist would not be able to say it (quite mistakenly, of course).

  • Your grasping at straws young fellow. I have no more time for you. Too much juvenile schoolyard name calling. Better get the homework done before mommy comes home. lol

  • Stoplight: First Capitol Church

  • "Most americans are Christian." Does this mean all Americans are Christians? Were you born stupid or have you had to work at it real hard? "laws are based on the ten Commandments" Even IRS code? "One nation under God." A line that was ADDED to the Pledge of Allegiance in the 1920s that was not in the original. By the way, the Pledge of Allegiance was written by a SOCIALIST. Remember that the next time you recite it at one of your Christian fascist gatherings.

  • Hey babyou ,don't talk so silly. Most americans are Christian. Almost every funeral in America is a religious funeral. Most are christian. The laws are based on the ten Commandments. In God we trust is on the money. One nation under God. This is what made America a place where more people escaped poverty that any other nation that ever existed. The constitution is set up to stop Government from setting up one state church and outlawing all others. IE England,France Italy, Sweden, etc etc etc.

  • @bapyou You are speaking to bushbarnes right? lol

  • "History has been changed by the liberals." OK, conservative moron, tell us how "liberals" have "changed" history. America was NEVER a Christian country; America is blind to religion. Many groups immigrated from Europe to America BECAUSE they were persecuted in Europe due to their religion. Why don't you know this you uneducated hick? For this reason, THE CONSTITUTION of the UNTIED STATES SPECIFICALLY prohibits the establishment of a STATE RELIGION. Don't you get it, you fascist?
