Awesome! After 8 days of trying to root my Evo 4G with AutoRoot 2.2i I finally got it rooted by using your Unrevoked 3.2.1 video instructions. It was good the way that you explained how to install the Android Bootloader interface drivers and uninstall HTC Sync FIRST... Thanks!!!! It took me 5 hours but I'm finally done.

my enrevoked keeps saying validation error: backup CID is missing. Any ideas or help???

After it reboots from recovery it looks like a scrambled screen before it goes black my old evo never did that but I did the manual root. Is this normal? Every video I seen so far they cut off or look at the computer screen at that time.

@smason16 what software version is your evo cuz if it has a number beginning with 3.30 or 3.70 it cannot be rooted by unrevoked

@AbuNoahSantana yeah im running 3.30, what prolly the next best way to root?

@smason16 Urevoked just released 3.3 so it will root new evos. so search Unrevoked 3.3 and try that. I'll make a video as soon as I can.
