I appreciate ALL of the comments left here, I think we all need to keep these victims in our thoughts, and we all need to be thinking of ways we can individually and as a group, combat future acts of violence - in our little community and also in society at large. There is no room for these senseless acts of violence, the murders or the beatings...no room for hate.

Both of these stories are so fucking awful. I still haven't been able to bring myself to watch the video of the woman being beaten yet. I'm going to wait until after finals so I can be in a time and place where I can fully emotionally process it. Ugh, so awful and disturbing.

Hey mainely! I don't comment on your videos regularly but with this I had too. I am truly disturbed and disgusted on many levels. As a person of color who is gay both of these accounts sends chills down my spine because it proves our society has a long way to go. We still need to educate more and do more so these situation won't happen. Humanity is fucked up and scary, I can only hope it gets better. Great video.

Hi from Canada, this a a society issue, one for us all to be concern about. One with answers that cross many issue's. People not wanting to be or get involved is something I see in my country also. Like how you mention people's lack of a reaction to the beating, sad state for our world to be in. Acceptance is so needed, fear and hatred can be one in the same at times. Even though we have legal gay rights that the US doesn't have, we still get hatred also. This is an examlpe of the worst kind.
