  • @fmartinjr im a jr firefighter takin the required classes for probation so when i get in the probation will be 4 months n not 1 year and great advice thanks

  • @fmartinjr Ok, thanks that's good to know! We even have new GMC trucks for ambulances, with caution designed decked out on the rear doors with this weird sounding air horn that still sounds electronic to me, but there just not housed at every fire station. Have you seen them? Type in "Philly EMS", this guy has about 5 or more videos posted of his EMS dispatches from his dashboard cam.

  • @omfgCantGetaUsername Well the recently delivered KME's have Mechanical "Q"s.So slowly but surely the City is going back to the hard hitting verbal King of the soundwaves. If you ask me,using electronic sirens only in a big congested Metro city and it's highways, like Philly on big rigs is asking for collisions.

  • @fmartinjr Buddy, you don't have to apologize to me.You're welcome to comment whatever you want to on my items, just don't attack me in any form.If you disagree about a video, just be tasteful about it.

  • @omfgCantGetaUsername Sry. I didn't mean to say too much siren I just meant the sirens you have there which I've heard before in other videos from different county dept. I never heard here before.

  • @fmartinjr Sadly enough, it's not like that anymore so you'll barely encounter any all red Seagraves nowadays. In fact, they have specs of 'em reserved but mainly it's been all new stuff since '01/'02 w/ Fed. EQs mostly and never those mechanical Qs/Powercall. It's like the city are restricted from blasting too much sirens ya know.

  • @omfgCantGetaUsername Yeah, when I was a kid in the 70-80's,I loved going to Philly all the time because of All Red Fire Trucks with Federal "Q"s and airhorns blasting all day long.

  • Man, those sirens are a lot louder than PFD's (philly) Qsiren probably cause they use EQ here.
