"Let It Die" written and performed originally by Feist.

I was turned on to Feist and this album by a friend back in college. It has always felt like the perfect breakup song, except if you're the one getting broken up. It sounds so literal and simple but for just two minutes you can feel the complexity of a dying relationship as if you've just lived it. There something about the spirit of the song that is so captivating. I'd love to capture it for one of my own songs someday.
