The fact that America is the biggest consumer of Oilsands oil, or that they may be glad to have access to it, does not, again, magically make it clean or less polluting in any way.

Firstly--I was referring to the machinery that is used to gather and process the sand. Secondly--Canada doesn't need nor do we heed to US lecturers who destroy the atmosphere with their coal. In any event, you are the biggest consumers of tar sands oil. And last but not least, you are about to have a middle eastern embargo placed against you. Already your gas prices are soaring. You'll be damned glad to use tarsands oil.
