First Volvo B59 chassis ever built. And therefore also the first rear-engined Volvo chassis. Delivered to Copenhagen Tramways in 1970, preserved since 1984, first by Volvo in Sweden, since 2009 by Danish buspreservation group.
@solaris362: Yes, only two speed Voith 501. It was quite common for the time. Scania continued with their two speed GAV automatic gearbox all the way into the 1990's. In Volvo's the Voith 851 three speed became standard allready in the mid 1970's. Some Volvo B59 had the ZF2HP45 two speed gearbox instead of the Voith. Also check out my videos of the ex. Bruxelles B59 in Plovdiv Bulgaria, great sound of the two speed Voith 506 together with the powerful THD100D engine :)
