Hello everyone,
It's been 3 months since my surgery and i feel great. I am completely without pain and I am 100% satisfied with the results. I'm off at college now and I haven't any trouble with carrying my backpack, laundry or anything else. Any questions you have feel free to comment and I'll respond as soon as possible. Thanks again for all the support.

  • I have this :c and because of it I have become really insecure. I play sports such as cross country , track , and soccer. Sometimes my heart starts beating irregurlaly fast and I get light headed a lot , I also run out of breath a lot. I hate it :/

  • @iWhisperr I got light headed all the time and i always ran out of breath earlier than others at swim team practice, i dont get light headed anymore and my stamina and endurance have increased 5 fold

  • Glad it's worked out well for you. Why did you choose the Ravitch over the Nuss? (Sorry if you've answered this elsewhere.)

  • @gratiaDei777 my sternum was sunken off level and ravitch allows a more sculptured approach to the repair

  • great change man! Was the operation for cosmetic benefit only or did the PE cause you any health probs?

  • @kiowchung i would get light headed all the time and i had a pulmonary impairment

  • Amazing results man... I'm about to discuss my results with the doctor so they can send me to undergo surgery. I too want the ravitch procedure because its the only way the condition wont come back. Hopefully my insurance will cover me. :c

  • I am trying to get approved for surgery would you say there is a noticeable change in breathing?

  • Looks great now! I'm having surgery in a few months and I'm impressed with the speed of your recovery. Hope you're happy with the results, you seem like a thoroughly decent young man!

  • Ive heard that ravitch is much more painful, but it didnt seem too bad watching your videos, I mean it looks real painful but manageable too, thanks for your videos I'm now thinking about having the ravitch done, hope your well

  • did your intake of oxygen dramatically increase? also how painful was the procedure?

  • Outstanding video and you look awesome!!!! I had mine done around 5th grade, I'm 34 now, and it took me until last summer (when I was 33) to not be self conscious of my scar.

Its AWESOME that you're breathing better!!!!!!

  • Some words of advice.... EAT SOME FOOD!!
